For 30 years I have specialized in helping families with children with Anxiety, trauma, special needs, adoption issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, peer and social issues, Depression, grief and loss.
My graduate studies were in Family Systems Theory from Phillips Graduate Institute, a foundation that assists me to this day in valuing the entire system around a child. Inclusive of the child's immediate family, and any other supportive or integral partners in the child's daily experience, such as their teacher and/or doctor, when requested by the parent. I also employ Play Therapy, E.M.D.R., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure Response Prevention (E.R.P.) in my work with children.
